Divorced Parents

A husband and wife got a divorce. They had a young daughter. The husband had to pay his wife alimony until his daughter turned eighteen.

On the eve of her eighteenth birthday the daughter came to visit her father. He gave her the money and said maliciously:

Tell your mother that this is the last payment.'

The daughter went home and gave her mother the message.

'Well you can tell your father,' said the mother, 'that he's not your father.'
